CYPRO addressed the protection of critical infrastructure against cyber-physical attacks. The project studied attacks on industrial control systems and their effects on the physical process, as well as countermeasures such as process-aware attack detection. Experimental work used the SWaT water treatment testbed at SUTD and tools for simulating industrial networks. Results include open-source tools and datasets that are widely used in ICS security research.
