First run of National Science Experiment underway

This week, the first run of the National Science Experiment started with about 15,000 sensor nodes distributed to schools all over Singapore. The nodes were designed by SUTD together with Delta Electronics, and most of the backend infrastructure is designed and implemented by SUTD (together with IHPC). So far, the experiment has been a success. The following is a quick visualization of the reported positions of the nodes at the end of day 1. More info on the NSE here.
